About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand Ambassador to join our team at Nintendo of America Inc. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for building brand awareness and promoting our products to retailers and consumers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct store visits to assess priorities and manage tasks and/or schedule according to what is encountered in each store.
  • Proactively plan store visits by identifying the individualized needs and necessary materials for each retailer.
  • Provide real-time information on assigned stores by utilizing a tablet device to respond to surveys and file reports from the field.
  • Conduct inventories and work with retailer and NBA management to adjust discrepancies.
  • Build relationships and maintain communication with store personnel and store management.
  • Maintain display parts and POP (Point of Purchase) inventory.
  • Set up and maintain displays and display cases, including repairs and cleaning.
  • Restock product and strategically place retail marketing POP to increase the visibility of Nintendo, while ensuring merchandising tactics are followed.
  • Utilize selling techniques and knowledge of Nintendo products to aid customers with purchasing decisions.
  • Provide product demonstrations and education to store personnel, both individual and group presentations, during store visits, weekend demonstrations and outside opportunities.
  • Gather insights from the field and provide to NBA management, including both written information and digital photographs.
  • Participate in annual conference, monthly team calls and product training sessions.
  • Coverage of long distance locations via phone calls and periodic visits.
  • May provide support coverage for neighboring territories upon request.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of related retail experience.
  • Possess good basic math skills.
  • Accurate counting skills.
  • Ability to use a computer, tablet and/or smart phone.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; i.e., Excel, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Nintendo products or ability to quickly become familiar with products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver license and insurance.
Physical/Functional Requirements
  • Ability to interact with others
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate levels of stress
  • Overtime, holiday, and varying shift work may be required
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have access to a cell phone, telephone line (optional), high speed internet, and adequate storage space.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift heavy loads (up to 30 pounds).
  • Valid driver license.
  • Good driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
  • Overnight travel in some markets.
