The Lead Echo Vascular Technologist plays a crucial role in the Cardiology department at St. David's Medical Center, leading activities and ensuring exceptional patient care. Responsibilities- Perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, including adult and pediatric echocardiography and vascular studies.
- Lead and coordinate daily activities in the designated location, ensuring efficient completion of diagnostic studies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional patient care and promote optimal unit operations.
- Exceed SDMC ICARE standards while maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
- Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or certificate of completion from an accredited school of Echo Ultrasound.
- 3-7 years of experience in Echo Ultrasound, with experience in pediatric and adult echo and vascular studies.
- Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
