Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. The specialist will undertake a variety of cleaning responsibilities on a regular basis, including:

  • Vacuuming and maintaining carpeted areas.
  • Emptying waste receptacles and managing litter.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including all surfaces, fixtures, and restocking supplies.
  • Executing specialized cleaning tasks as needed, such as dusting and polishing.

The specialist will also be responsible for the sanitation of equipment, proper waste disposal, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas. This role may involve handling various cleaning chemicals and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment as required.
  • Conduct basic housekeeping tasks, including cleaning floors, walls, and fixtures.
  • Document cleaning activities in sanitation logs.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Perform general cleaning duties and assist with special events.
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including furniture and windows.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or sanitation roles is preferred. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require lifting up to 50 pounds, moving in various positions, and working in diverse environments, including confined spaces.

Environmental Conditions:

Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures, outdoor elements, and potentially hazardous conditions.
