About Red Cow: Red Cow is a rapidly expanding maintenance service provider, focusing on residential, commercial properties, and outdoor retail environments. Our portfolio encompasses over 100 million square feet.

Role Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for a variety of maintenance and facility support tasks, including cleaning and repairing building fixtures and equipment, graffiti removal, signage repair or replacement, and lighting upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously assess property maintenance needs.
  • Document, schedule, and execute identified maintenance tasks.
  • Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Ensure accurate recording and submission of all scheduled jobs and timekeeping.
  • Build and maintain relationships with property managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in general maintenance skills, including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, and repairs.
  • Experience in commercial building maintenance is required.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is advantageous.
  • Must possess a valid California Driver's License and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Thorough understanding of Cal-OSHA regulations and safe work practices.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic when working independently.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to operate technological devices (e.g., smartphone, laptop, tablet).
  • Willingness to service various locations as required.

Physical Requirements:

Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination. The role involves using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl. Capable of working on HVAC units and in environments with extreme temperatures. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
