About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Vermeer Corporation. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-process and end-of-line inspections to verify product conformance to specifications.
  2. Document non-conformances and defects, and coordinate with suppliers for corrective action.
  3. Communicate performance metrics to production areas for awareness and improvement.
  4. Execute guided inspection, ship hold, and hold-for-disposition processes.
  5. Collaborate with production and other functional areas to investigate issues and support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum six months of related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, read blueprints, and interpret standards, print tolerances, and other production specifications.
  • Effective communication and relationship building with both internal and external customers.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, CAD, and other software.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position, and the team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
