We are currently in search of a civil litigation attorney to enhance our No-Fault practice in New York. This position offers the flexibility of remote work.

As a leading firm in civil law, we are well-known for our effective representation of both individuals and corporations dealing with liability issues related to automotive and trucking negligence, medical malpractice, toxic torts, workplace incidents, and various other general liability matters. Key Responsibilities

Our attorneys are entrusted with significant responsibilities from the outset. They take full ownership of cases from start to finish, serving as the primary contact for daily tasks and managing all facets of the litigation process.

  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda.
  • Recording and distributing all pertinent information on behalf of clients.
  • Summarizing medical records and identifying critical details.
  • Preparing client reports that outline case status and forthcoming actions.
  • Identifying, researching, and analyzing legal issues and differing legal opinions.
  • Conducting and defending depositions, managing arbitrations, and arguing motions.
  • Participating in both in-person and virtual court proceedings.
  • Providing legal representation to safeguard client interests in complex and high-stakes litigation.
  • Clarifying the litigation process to clients unfamiliar with legal proceedings.
  • Steering cases towards efficient, cost-effective, and equitable resolutions.
  • Managing multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in civil litigation, with a preference for familiarity with PIP and SIU matters.
  • Experience in handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other intricate assignments.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and organizational skills.
  • Capability to manage a substantial caseload and daily case-related tasks.
  • A strong commitment to professional growth and learning.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with senior attorneys, partners, staff, clients, opposing counsel, and the judicial system.
  • Experience in billing for legal services.
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
