Job Overview

Marble Falls Area EMS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medical Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency medical services, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and responding to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing emergency medical services, including patient assessment, treatment, and transportation.
  • Responding to emergency calls, including fires, hazardous materials incidents, and rescue scenes.
  • Maintaining emergency medical vehicles, equipment, and facilities to ensure operational readiness.
  • Assisting with coordination of specialized programs, including safety, disaster response, and public education.
  • Ensuring personnel safety and accountability.
  • Required training and certifications, including NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A valid Class C Texas Driver's License.
  • Texas EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic certification.
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications.

Working Conditions:

The Field Staff must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to pull, push or drag up to 50 pounds of materials and supplies. Field Staff are required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. Field Staff must use eyes, ears, hands, and fingers to perform assigned duties and responsibilities. There is a possibility of severe injury or loss of life during the performance of duties.
