Job Title: Irrigator Mattawa Capstone

Stemilt is seeking a skilled Irrigator to join our team in the Mattawa Capstone area. As an Irrigator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal growth and yield of our crops.

Job Summary:

Assist the orchard managers and supervisor in various activities, including irrigation, cherry and apple picking, thinning, pruning, and working with chainsaws. This is a full-time, year-round position with a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in irrigation management, including moving sprinklers and irrigation pipes.
  • Participate in cherry and apple picking, thinning, pruning, and other activities as assigned.
  • Work with chainsaws and other equipment as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the orchard by performing various tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Live in the Mattawa Capstone area.
  • Have knowledge of fruit varieties and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be able to work with little supervision or no supervision.
  • Have good attendance and be flexible with working schedule.
  • Be bilingual (desired).
  • Have a positive attitude and be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
  • Have experience in irrigation.
  • Have or be able to obtain a Ladder Certification and Pesticide Applicator License.
