Salem Regional Medical Center is seeking a qualified Certified Surgical Tech/LPN to join our team in the Perioperative Services department.

Job Summary:

The Certified Surgical Tech/LPN will work under the direction of the Director of Perioperative Services and the supervision of the surgeon to provide patient care and support during surgical procedures. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and support during surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment during procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist school or Licensed Practice Nursing Program
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Minimum 1 year of recent work experience as a Surgical Technician
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
