We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Platform Developer (Power BI) for a significant contract opportunity. This role involves leveraging your expertise in the Power Platform to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop tailored solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Implement and sustain Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain security and manageability of solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and the Citizen Development Program to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, design effective solutions, and oversee successful execution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and enhancement.
  • Conduct system configurations, defining fields, views, and forms to satisfy specified requirements.
  • Execute comprehensive testing and debugging of solutions to guarantee high-quality outcomes.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Core Skills: Proficiency in Power Platform, Power BI, and SharePoint Online.
  • Extensive experience with Power Platform tools and SharePoint Online.
  • Ability to address complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and sprint planning.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities to mentor junior and citizen developers.
  • Experience with common data services, data connectors, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform, including mobile and offline capabilities.
  • Relevant certifications in Power Platform.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience in conducting code reviews.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Familiarity with other low-code platforms like Mendix.
  • Experience with Full Stack programming, e.g., .Net.
  • Basic understanding of single sign-on technologies.
  • Ability to provide and evaluate estimates; Agile estimation and planning preferred.
  • Capability to create and assess technical designs.
  • Ability to quickly learn and analyze business processes, collaborating closely with users, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates ownership of responsibilities and follows through on commitments.
  • Delivers results through realistic planning to achieve objectives.
  • Develops effective solutions based on available information and makes timely, ethical decisions.
