Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular individual supervision sessions and team meetings with staff.
  • Occasionally accompany staff to client meetings in educational settings to ensure safety and quality of service.
  • Assist staff in identifying client referral needs and managing their schedules in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Participate in client staffing to identify issues and set treatment goals, while managing assigned cases.
  • Engage in quality assurance processes by presenting cases and providing feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and review of treatment plans and updates as necessary.
  • Be available to support staff during their absence or when additional expertise is required.
  • Involve in crisis intervention during business hours and as needed outside of regular hours.
  • Review documentation regularly, offering corrective feedback and ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling as appropriate, based on qualifications and client needs.
  • Coordinate follow-up for all clients under your supervision and participate in monthly case reviews.
  • Present educational materials in public forums to promote community understanding of mental health issues.
  • Report critical incidents to the supervising Assistant Director or Director of Educational Support Services.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new staff as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with operational guidelines and participate in staff development activities.
  • Engage in program evaluation and grant application development as needed.
  • Participate in all required meetings and contribute to self-evaluation processes.
  • Adhere to quality assurance procedures and cooperate with utilization reviews.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in a similar field with three years of relevant experience. A Missouri Chauffeur's Driver's License is recommended but not mandatory unless operating a company vehicle. A professional license as a Counselor or Social Worker in Missouri is preferred.
