Position Overview
This role is essential for overseeing nursing students in a practical clinical setting. The individual will be tasked with assessing the clinical competencies of students and assigning grades for their clinical tasks. This is a part-time, hourly position.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate must demonstrate current clinical proficiency in their assigned area and possess knowledge of contemporary adult learning methodologies. The following qualifications are mandatory:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) is required;
- Active nursing license in the State of Missouri without any disciplinary actions;
- A minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience;
- Current CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities
The Part-Time Clinical Nursing Educator will:
- Deliver clinical instruction to students in their specified clinical area;
- Familiarize students with the assigned clinical facility and Moberly Area Community College;
- Participate in an orientation session regarding the curriculum of the Associate Degree Nursing Program;
- Maintain up-to-date records of licensure and educational credentials with the College and Health Sciences Department;
- Ensure current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);
- Stay clinically updated in their designated specialty; certification is preferred but not required;
- Attend faculty meetings as mandated by the Director;
- Submit bi-monthly timesheets on payroll dates to the Department of Health Sciences;
- Keep accurate records of grades, attendance, clinical performance, and anecdotal notes, submitting them as necessary to the Dean or Director of Health Sciences;
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Director of Health Sciences or the President;
- Adhere to the responsibilities outlined for part-time faculty in the MACC Policy Handbook.
