Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular individual supervision sessions and team meetings with staff.
- Occasionally accompany staff to client locations to ensure safety and quality of service.
- Assist staff in identifying client needs and managing their time effectively according to departmental standards.
- Participate in client staffing to identify issues and set treatment goals in line with organizational guidelines.
- Engage in quality assurance processes by presenting cases and providing feedback.
- Contribute to the development and review of treatment plans as necessary.
- Be available to support staff during their absence or when additional expertise is required.
- Involve in crisis intervention during business hours and on-call as needed.
- Review documentation regularly, providing constructive feedback and ensuring compliance.
- Deliver individual, group, or family counseling as required, based on qualifications.
- Coordinate follow-up for all clients under your supervision and participate in critical intervention reviews.
- Educate the community on mental health issues through public presentations.
- Report critical incidents to the supervising management.
- Assist in the recruitment of new staff and verify travel expenses.
- Adhere to operational guidelines and ethical standards.
- Participate in staff development and training activities.
- Engage in data collection and program evaluation as needed.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and participate in self-evaluations.
- Comply with quality assurance procedures and cooperate with utilization reviews.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field; or a Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant experience.
- A Missouri Chauffeur's Driver's License is preferred but not mandatory unless driving a company vehicle. A professional license in counseling or social work in Missouri is desirable.
