Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement training programs for new employees
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Operational Excellence
    • Conduct daily 5S audits to maintain a safe and organized work environment
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards
    • Investigate and resolve any quality or safety issues that may arise
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in metals fabrication
  • Laser, Press-Brake, and Welding experience
  • Experience using Syteline or equivalent ERP system, preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory control system, preferred
  • Experience and/or knowledge of 5S, SMED, Kanban, TPM, Standard Work, and other Lean tools, preferred
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to waist occasionally
  • Ability to lift 65 pounds from waist to chest occasionally
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds from chest to overhead frequently
  • Ability to carry 30 pounds, 3 feet, occasionally
  • Ability to push 200 pounds on a wheeled cart for 40 feet occasionally
  • Ability to pull 60 pounds on a wheeled cart for 50 feet occasionally
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Good hand/finger dexterity required
  • Ability to handle repetitive motion
  • Ability to reach above shoulders, crouch, bend at the waist, and climb an A-frame ladder
