Job Description Summary

As a Staff Software Engineer for the MR Visualization team, you will be responsible for leading multiple software projects and guiding the team in all technical aspects. You will work on complex software projects that require in-depth domain understanding and specialized architecture areas.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test non-real-time functional magnetic resonance image processing and analysis across the GEHC MR product portfolio with different deployment models.
  • Develop, analyze, and review detailed design and software implementation aligned with the overall product software architecture and technology stack following the Software Development Life Cycle process.
  • Interface with the MR Visualization and Digital application domains to evaluate and integrate 3rd party solutions into the non-real-time functional magnetic resonance imaging roadmap.
  • Design and deliver reusable software components following platforming design principles.
  • Advocate for product quality and deliver all design artifacts meeting or exceeding quality standards.
  • Lead research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
  • Act as a technical expert to groom features, review design/code/test methodology/tests, and lead cyber security and reliability efforts for the project along with other cross-functional SW teams.
  • Ideate to bring innovations and drive proof of concepts to build the architectural roadmap.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors with 10+ years of relevant experience in software projects.

  • Leadership & Business Acumen: Adept at navigating the organizational matrix, understanding people's roles, able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer, and possessing extensive knowledge of full solution catalogs within a business unit.
