The Electronics Technician plays a crucial role in overseeing all electronic systems and automated controls within the facility, which encompass locking mechanisms, fire alarm systems, intercom/public address systems, closed-circuit television, nurse-call systems, and various other security-related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all preventive maintenance schedules according to established specifications.
  • Manage administrative duties, including work order documentation and general record maintenance.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of a maintenance management database.
  • Foster professional relationships with client personnel and offer technical assistance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of building security and electronic systems.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.
  • Complete both preventive and corrective maintenance work orders efficiently.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in security electronics within commercial settings is essential.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
