As a Commercial Lines Manager with GPAC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the agency. You will:

  • Manage a select portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and streamline departmental workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee day-to-day operations and drive the achievement of agency goals and performance objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities for the department, including cross-selling and expanding coverage options, to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Continuously enhance the client service experience, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service and support.
  • Generate and analyze monthly reports to assess progress toward departmental goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring that GPAC remains a trusted partner in the industry.
  • Foster a productive and positive work environment within the department, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Provide ongoing training to ensure optimal utilization of our agency management system and carrier websites.
  • Participate in annual staff evaluations and contribute to the hiring and training of new team members.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the role.Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of success.
  • An active P & C License, with a strong understanding of insurance regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency with Agency Management Systems, with the ability to analyze data and drive business decisions.
  • Self-motivation and a strong sense of accountability, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and customer service abilities, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to analyze data and create reports.
