Compensation: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $31 to $55 based on experience, with additional bonuses available including a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a tenure bonus program starting at six months of employment.
Role Overview:
The Automotive Service Specialist is tasked with executing vehicle repairs and maintenance in alignment with dealership and manufacturer standards. This role also includes supervising apprentice technicians as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process repair orders efficiently.
- Conduct repairs as specified on repair orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and implement necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with the parts department to procure required components.
- Document and tag parts for warranty jobs or customer requests.
- Inspect vehicles for additional service needs.
- Communicate with service advisors regarding any changes in repair requirements or timelines.
- Document all work performed on vehicles.
- Conduct road tests as necessary, ensuring customer vehicles are not used for personal errands.
- Oversee the work of apprentice technicians as assigned.
- Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions.
- Stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and the shop area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and report any incidents to management.
Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background checks and drug tests.
