At Highmark Health, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and support. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and structured environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess patient status and gather pertinent patient care data.
- Organize patient care tasks according to priority and importance.
- Obtain vital signs and height and weight measurements, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff and suggest modifications to the treatment plan.
- Bachelor's degree or one to two years of relevant experience and/or education.
- Non-violent crisis intervention certification within six months of hire.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearance certificates.
