Job Overview

IMS People is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of data center hardware and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rack and stack data center equipment, including servers, storage systems, and networking devices.
  • Install and de-install data center hardware, including servers, storage systems, and networking devices.
  • Cable and terminate data center infrastructure, including power and network cables.
  • Perform reverse wire pulls and snips as needed.
  • Stage rails for future installations.
  • Perform build-outs and other data center-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • General data center and server farm expertise is a must.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of data center technician experience.
  • Break-fix skills or systems administration skills are preferred.
  • Valid government ID.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
