Job Summary

The Newman-Crows Landing Unified School District is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Leader to oversee the daily operations of the Beyond the Bell Program at Yolo Middle School. As a key member of the district's education team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising program activities, assisting with instruction, and providing support to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily program activities and ensure a safe and engaging environment for students.
  • Assist with instruction and provide support to students as needed.
  • Collaborate with the BTB Site Coordinator to develop and implement program goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain program records and reports as required.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and academic achievement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth in an educational or recreational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working in an after-school program or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
