Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at MUSC Community Physicians. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, working collaboratively with medical staff, and participating in data collection, plan formulation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign measurements, wound care, and medication administration
  • Conduct telephone and in-person screenings, gathering information to inform patient care decisions
  • Assist medical staff with preparation, examination, and procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information
  • Participate in recording and reporting responsibilities, maintaining accurate and consistent records in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduation from a recognized LPN program and licensure as an LPN in South Carolina or a compact state
  • One year of LPN experience preferred; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
