Job Title: Chief Dosimetrist

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Dosimetrist to join our Radiation Oncology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans
  • Supervise and train radiation therapists and dosimetrists to ensure high-quality treatment delivery
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
  • Participate in clinical research and education to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in radiation oncology
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Medical Dosimetry from a JCERT-accredited program
  • Current certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiation oncology dosimetry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
