Strategic Sales Director for Major Accounts

The Genuine Parts Company is seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Director to lead our Major Account sales efforts. This role will focus on driving business growth and revenue expansion in the major account segment.
About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the major account market and be able to leverage their expertise to build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
As a Strategic Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing strategic plans to drive sales growth in the major account segment
- BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY DECISION-MAKERS
- Leveraging industry knowledge and insights to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of previous selling and account management experience
- A solid record of success developing new business while maintaining and growing existing business
- Strong industry knowledge and insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Travel requirements will be upwards of 50% at any given time.
