About The Career:
The Development Director will play a critical role in directing the execution of our vision, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, and grantmaking operations. This position will be responsible for developing, broadening, and maximizing philanthropic support from individuals and businesses to increase awareness and support of hospital programs, initiatives, and goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, preferably in a healthcare setting, and will be able to demonstrate a track record of continued growth through education and participation in professional fundraising organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve fundraising goals
• Manage donor relationships and the portfolio of donor prospects
• Provide strategic and administrative support for donor outreach and stewardship, prospect research, gift and pledge documentation, and records
• Represent the foundation to the public and media to communicate its mission, values, and accomplishments
