We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Social Worker to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a key member of our pediatric unit, you will play a vital role in providing emotional, social, and cognitive support to our young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide age-appropriate interventions to promote the emotional, social, and cognitive growth of patients, considering the context of their family, culture, and developmental stage.
  • Develop care plans that align with each patient's medical and psychosocial needs, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Enhance patients' and families' understanding of medical procedures and diagnoses using developmentally appropriate techniques.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided to patients and families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Child Life development, Early childhood education, or Pediatric psychology.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a pediatric setting.
  • Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification.
