The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse to join its Spinal Cord Injury Team at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Nurse who can provide exceptional patient care and support to our veterans with spinal cord injuries. As a member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and improve the lives of our patients.

Your primary responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with complex needs, as well as leading initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Key Qualifications
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
