Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Hagadone Marine Group. As a key member of our receiving and inventory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments, as well as maintaining a well-organized and clean inventory area.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and processing them according to our SOPs
- Organize and label products, assigning locations for new products and reorganizing existing inventory
- Generate and maintain lists for manufacturer short-shipped parts
- Identify and mark parts with work order numbers, sending notifications to relevant personnel
- Coordinate returns with Purchasing and maintain a clean and organized inventory area
- Perform cycle counting and operate a forklift, handtruck, and pallet jack safely
- 1+ year of shipping and receiving experience, with forklift experience a plus
- Knowledge of Dockmaster, ERP, or inventory management systems preferred
- Marine or automotive knowledge and/or parts experience a plus
- Ability to speak and listen effectively, interpret directions, and work independently
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
