Team Lead for Manufacturing Operations

Overview:
The Production Process Supervisor plays a pivotal role in guiding and managing their team to ensure the safe and efficient execution of daily production objectives and related support functions, while fostering a constructive workplace atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks by the team.
Encourage a collaborative, positive, and responsible work culture.
Translate organizational goals into actionable tasks and oversee the fulfillment of daily production targets.
Manage the distribution of personnel, materials, and equipment to maximize productivity.
Assist the Supervisor with internal communications.
Mentor team members to promote ongoing enhancements in safety measures, quality assurance, and schedule compliance.
Perform quality assessments and lead initiatives for corrective actions.
Oversee the on-the-job training of all new team members.
Provide constructive feedback during performance evaluations of team members.
Uphold cleanliness and organization standards through 5S methodologies.
Ensure accuracy in manufacturing orders.
Integrate first-line preventative maintenance into daily operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent educational background (GED).
One to three years of relevant experience and/or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
Capability to effectively execute essential duties in the process area to a TDR level 4 or higher.
At least one year of experience in a process environment or prior leadership roles.
Proficient in reading and interpreting documents, generating standard reports, and presenting effectively to groups.
Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office applications and Vestas' proprietary or subscribed software.
Physical Requirements:
Must possess the physical ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate effectively.
Must occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds; team lift 70 lbs. Typically exposed to moving mechanical components within a manufacturing setting. Potential risks associated with equipment and machinery are present.Benefits:
