Knowledge and Learning Intern

The Knowledge & Learning Team at KIPP DC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our team in various ways. As an integral part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our programs by providing logistical support for Professional Development (50% time allocation).
- Collect participant data regarding attendance, participation, and assignments.
- Create and manage session materials including documents, digital files, supplies, etc.
- Manage Zoom and/or Google Meet tech features such as waiting rooms, chat rooms, and breakout rooms.
- Support facilitator and individual participants with in-the-moment technical needs.
Additionally, you will contribute to managing teacher and leader feedback (20%), program databases (20%), and supporting Knowledge & Learning team events (10%). This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while working with a dynamic team dedicated to education reform.

- Support event preparation and execution.
This internship offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.50, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. As a headquarters team member, you will regularly provide on-site support to school teams, frequently partner with other headquarters teams, or work in multiple locations. With approximately 20% flexibility to work remotely, this role allows for occasional flexibility.
Requirements & Preferences- High school degree.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or recently graduated from an undergraduate program.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong adherence to deadlines and timelines.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Punctual and reliable with strong attendance.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and the Google suite.
The KIPP DC summer internship program offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.50, allowing you to gain valuable experience while earning a decent income. Interns are eligible to work up to 30 hours per week, providing flexibility to balance your work and personal life.
