Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Weekends off)

Job Summary:

The Lead Line Cook is responsible for demonstrating exceptional culinary skills, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This role requires effective collaboration with team members and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all menu preparation and execution
• Prepare and plate dishes in a clean and timely manner
• Ensure food quality meets established standards
• Maintain an organized and sanitary work area
• Implement proper food handling and storage procedures
• Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• Conduct regular cleaning of kitchen facilities

Health & Safety:

• Follow safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with health department standards
• Adhere to sanitation guidelines post-COVID-19
• Comply with time and temperature regulations

Requirements:

• California Food Handler Card
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Work Environment:

• Involves standing and walking for the duration of the shift
• Requires frequent lifting and moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, is a plus
