Job Overview

As a seasoned construction professional, you will oversee the management of construction projects in the Bay Area, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality. Your expertise in Job Order Contract (JOC) experience and hospital tenant improvement projects will be valuable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions, including scheduling, engineering, material control, and day-to-day direction.
  • Draft and generate project purchase requisitions, field design change requests, and other necessary documents.
  • Provide technical assistance, including interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, and ensuring compliance with project procedures and safety protocols.
  • Assist project management in implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, and ensuring all onsite personnel comply with project requirements.
  • Ensure the productivity of subcontractors, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the Supervisor or Corporate Director.
Requirements
  • Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of construction management supervision experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years of JOC experience preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, methods, contract agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, cost control, schedules, and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills essential.
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise large groups essential.
