The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nutritionist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients, taking into account their medical history, lifestyle, and nutritional needs.
  • Conduct dietary assessments, evaluate food intake patterns, and provide education on healthy eating habits and meal planning.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care, ensure timely referrals, and facilitate effective communication among team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staying current with industry developments and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related science is required.
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical nutrition role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) is highly valued.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
