About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and nutrition support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portion and serve food items to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Deliver trays and carts to resident floors, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and sanitize dining rooms, kitchen areas, and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
  • Work effectively on the tray line, ensuring accurate and timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Assist in the dish room and pot sink, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Sweep and mop floors, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in food service is a plus, but not required.
  • Positive attitude, energy, and a commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and residents.
