Server Position at Aspenwood Company

The Aspenwood Company is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Server to provide exceptional service to residents and guests in our dining room and at functions where food is served.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment that meets company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain the dining room to company standards, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Greet residents and guests with a smile, ensuring each resident has a place to sit.
  • Take food orders, present to kitchen staff, and deliver meals in a timely and proper manner.
  • Ensure accurate fulfillment of orders and check food quality/presentation.
  • Respond quickly to resident and guest requests, interacting with guests in the dining room to ensure satisfaction.
  • Pour and refill drinks in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all food handling, food service, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste materials, and restocking inventory.
  • Ensure resident safety by removing walkers from the dining room and returning them immediately after meals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, making each resident or guest feel valued and important.
  • Fully understand the menu and be able to explain selections to residents and guests.
  • Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
  • Attend all required training sessions and participate in the community's emergency response team.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
Requirements:
  • Must be or become within 60 days an accredited food handler per State guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 6 months to one year of related experience preferred.
  • Great customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Able to work independently or with others in the completion of assigned tasks.
