Job Summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Mental Health Assistant to provide therapeutic support to patients in a correctional setting. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to promote a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing clinical treatment plans for patients on Mental Health Watch
  • Engage in non-clinical interactions with prisoners to promote social and recreational activities
  • Document patient responses to engagement and observed behaviors
  • Prepare reports on unit activities as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (Associate degree in human services preferred)
  • Experience in mental health or forensic mental health settings (healthcare experience a plus)

Work Schedule:

Every Saturday
