Job Description:

Become part of the Maison Sofitel in New York as we embark upon a complete hotel rejuvenation. Help redefine approachable luxury hospitality in the heart of the city as the Director of Operations, providing leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture and luxury service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead hotel operations and manage a team of hotel ambassadors.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive guest satisfaction and luxury service standards.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Implement and manage hotel budgets and financial controls.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years hospitality experience with 5 years' experience at the Executive Committee level.
  • Extensive hotel operations experience, including leading a hotel opening or comprehensive renovation.
  • Proven track record of guest satisfaction results and leading positioning in the segment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with a proven team-builder and strong coaching skills.
