Operations Support Specialist
As an Operations Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily scheduling and tracking of our Fiber Technicians as they carry out installation tasks in the field. This role involves handling incoming calls from our internal teams to arrange installation services, as well as making outgoing calls to our clients to provide updates on the status of their installations and any potential delays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adjust technician routes as necessary to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct daily scheduling of resources within designated areas.
- Ensure compliance with ETA/TOA standards for field operations.
- Support technicians with any challenges that may arise during their tasks.
- Communicate operational and dispatch concerns with supervisors and managers.
- Receive incoming calls from technicians and clients.
- Utilize software tools to manage various tasks that support field operations, including ETA/TOA, Footprints, Q-manager, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Make outbound calls to clients as needed to confirm service appointment details or to gather additional information regarding service issues.
- Engage in special projects as assigned by the department supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor, in compliance with all applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience with computer-based order entry systems is essential.
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required.
- Experience in telecommunications and/or video services is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills are necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and process management abilities.
- Good analytical and communication skills, sound judgment, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with various departmental teams.
- Able to identify priority issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
- A commitment to teamwork and achieving success.
- A passion for your work and the mission of the organization.
