Role Summary:

We are looking for a Patient Intake Coordinator who will play a vital role in our organization. This position involves engaging with patients to gather information regarding accidents and insurance details, as well as making outbound inquiries to insurance companies concerning medical claims on behalf of our clients. The ideal candidate will ensure precise and prompt data entry across various systems while strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations.


Key Duties:
  • Conduct patient interviews to assess and resolve medical claims.
  • Manage phone coverage and respond to voicemails.
  • Organize and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Handle email communications, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Perform tasks such as faxing, scanning, and copying as required.
  • Create and maintain new patient accounts, ensuring accuracy across all company and healthcare systems.

Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and third-party liability is preferred.
  • Experience in medical billing or claims processing, including knowledge of UB04 and CMS1500 forms, is advantageous.
