Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Manager to join our finance team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning and analysis, supporting our government segment, and driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of financial reporting packages for senior leadership, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Establish and enforce schedules for long-range strategic planning activities, ensuring alignment with FP&A deadlines and submission of all deliverables.
  • Prepare consistent, accurate, and timely analysis of financial performance, identifying and communicating issues impacting financial performance.
  • Determine methods and procedures for validating forecasts, performance tracking, and analyzing staffing requirements.
  • Develop and manage complex financial models to ensure alignment with leadership, financial performance objectives, and accounting conventions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in budgeting, forecasting, general ledger, cost accounting, and project accounting.
  • Lead new projects in operational improvements and enhancing the use of financial planning tools.
  • Work closely with members of the leadership team to solve complex problems and influence positive outcomes.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team to meet the needs of a growing and evolving business.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on Financial Planning and Analysis experience supporting long-range strategic planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecast processes.
  • 2+ years in a Financial Leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area.
  • Robust Excel skills, including the ability to summarize large data sets via formulas, tables, and graphs.
  • Experience in full profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash management, and revenue recognition concepts.
  • Understanding of indirect rate structures, labor reconciliations (supply vs demand), and over/under tie-out.
  • Strong Budgeting, Risk and Opportunity, and variance analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
  • US Government position. US Citizenship is required.
