Role Overview:

As a Pet Host, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your primary responsibilities will include managing check-ins and check-outs, making follow-up reservations, selling activity packages, and addressing general inquiries about our services.

A Typical Day:

Each day, you will arrive with enthusiasm, ready to assist pet parents and their furry companions. You will wear our branded attire and manage our lobby and curbside service, ensuring a warm welcome for every guest. Your tasks will involve checking in and out clients, answering questions, and customizing our services to meet their needs. You will engage with both pets and their owners, documenting observations and sharing insights with your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to our Service Foundation principles, ensuring every client feels valued and respected.
  • Handle all incoming communications, including phone calls, voicemails, and emails.
  • Facilitate boarding reservations and schedule grooming, training, and daycare appointments.
  • Manage financial transactions, including cash, checks, and credit cards, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Build rapport with clients and remember their pets' names to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collect and input essential information regarding each pet's visit into our systems, ensuring accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to address client and pet needs effectively.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all services offered and provide tailored solutions to clients.
  • Request vaccination records from veterinary offices and ensure they are properly documented.
  • Assist in managing waitlists during peak times to maximize facility capacity.
  • Act as a communication bridge between veterinarians and clients, keeping all parties informed as necessary.
  • Proactively reach out to loyal customers to secure reservations ahead of busy seasons.
  • Address customer relations issues promptly and with empathy, striving for resolution.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met throughout the facility.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas, ensuring a safe environment for all.
  • Consult with other departments as needed to ensure seamless operations.
