Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise all sales activities related to both recreational and medical cannabis.
2. Manage daily opening and closing tasks for the store.
3. Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve operational goals.
4. Provide advanced support to customers, including resolving any issues that arise.
5. Assist in workforce management, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
6. Ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
7. Conduct daily cash audits and maintain accurate financial records.
8. Oversee inventory management, including receiving deliveries and transfers.
9. Welcome and assist customers and patients upon entry.
10. Engage with customers to assess their needs and recommend suitable products.
11. Educate customers about the advantages of cannabis products.
12. Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including product arrangement and general upkeep.
13. Process sales transactions, ensuring proper cash handling and compliance with packaging regulations.
14. Update customer information in the POS system as necessary.
15. Help manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
16. Assist with supply ordering and store audits.
17. Secure and organize all patient records.
18. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 6 months in customer service or sales.
- Familiarity with METRC systems.
- Experience with retail POS systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
- At least 2 years in customer service or sales.
- Experience with Cova POS systems.
- Knowledge of cannabis products and industry.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of local cannabis sales regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to perform various physical tasks, including bending, stretching, and repetitive motions.
