MedEvolve is seeking a highly skilled RCM Collections Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle Management team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of insurance billing duties to support our RCM services.
Key Responsibilities:- Work directly with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to process and pay claims
- Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims
- Post adjustments based on client protocols and Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- Stay up-to-date on changes in billing and collections procedures
- Meet benchmarks for Accounts Receivable (AR) volume
- Work with outside collection companies based on client protocols
- Communicate with patients regarding outstanding AR issues
- Research and resolve problems, test, train, and document best practices
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or combination of degree from an accredited college and 2 years of experience
- Systems application super user
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA standards
