Key Responsibilities:

Summary:

The Plant Services Engineer will play a pivotal role in deploying manufacturing systems across various domestic and international sites. This position encompasses project oversight, implementation on the manufacturing floor, and offering support across multiple facilities and production platforms.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Interpreting and creating AutoCAD/Solidworks schematics
  • Leading lean Root Cause Analysis initiatives
  • Designing plant layouts
  • Conducting hands-on troubleshooting of equipment
  • Assisting with equipment installations
  • Managing projects with extensive travel requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in plastic extrusion or injection molding processes
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies
  • Strong project management and communication capabilities
  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred
  • A 2-year Associates Degree with relevant experience is acceptable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing setting

Physical Demands:

  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks in diverse conditions
