Nurse Practitioner

About the RoleThis is a full-time position, starting at 30 hours per week, with the possibility of floating to other nearby locations and working alternating weekends. As a Registered Nurse, you'll be empowered to provide holistic patient care to your community with support, guidance, collaboration, and a one-store, one-team mindset.
Responsibilities- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
- Administer vaccine injections
- Assess patients during intake
- Take vital signs
- Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening
- Perform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)
- Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
- Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities
Experience with documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, performing point of care testing, and care coordination. Preferred qualifications include phlebotomy certification or experience, previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room, and experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system such as Epic.
