Job SummaryThe Bilingual Assistant will provide support to teachers and students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, libraries, and other educational environments. This role requires strong communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers in developing and implementing instructional materials and activities that meet the needs of English Learner students.
- Provide language support to students, including translation and interpretation services as needed.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic success and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to support English Learner students.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our students and staff.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- 48 semester units or more of college credit or equivalent experience.
- Bi-literate proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
