Truck Fueler and Trailer Technician

A Truck Fueler and Trailer Technician is responsible for efficiently and accurately selecting and staging trailers for loading and transport while ensuring proper temperature control with proper understanding and operation of refrigeration equipment and other duties as assigned. May be required to drive commercial vehicles on public roadways. This role will also wash the trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Trailer Preparation and Loading: Maneuver and back trailers into loading docks, opens bay doors, prepare trailer, and assist in loading/unloading product.
- Trailer Parking and Safety: Maneuver trailers into parking slips to ensure there is no traffic back up in the yard. Follow all safety protocols including performing safety checks to secure trailer and operating all equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Use other warehouse equipment to help load products into trailers. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure they are clean and in good working condition.
- Physical Demands and Requirements: Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Age and License: Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Driving Record and Background: Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements and pass a post-offer background, DOT Physical and drug test.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and at least 1 year Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military.
- Operational Experience: Experience operating yard vehicles, trailers, or forklift.
