Quality Assurance Engineer II, Last Mile Delivery Product and Technology

About the Role
Amazon's Last Mile Technology team is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to collaborate with product and engineering teams in developing test plans and automation that ensures the best customer experience.
Last Mile Technology focuses on providing innovative technologies to solve challenges and support fast delivery in the last mile delivery space.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with Software Development Engineers and Product Managers to develop features and evaluate technical implementation.
You will also collaborate with groups such as Product Management, User Experience Design, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and test suites that exercise real-world scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Creation of test strategies and methodologies for new features
- Test case development and hand-off to regression team for execution
- Collaboration with developers, product managers, and QA team members to achieve a high quality bar for your feature and team
- Development and execution of effective methods of communication among service teams and other stakeholders
- Handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Meeting/exceeding Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

The base pay for this position ranges from $102,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
