Traffic Signal Systems Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrician - Traffic Control Specialist to join our team in the Los Angeles area. As a member of our crew, you will be responsible for providing technical support at new and existing traffic signal installations and performing modifications to existing traffic signals.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform fieldwork with use of independent judgment, which may include programming and configuring equipment at new installations, modifying existing traffic signal cabinets, repairing or replacing malfunctioning equipment, and operating aerial equipment.
- Interact with internal and external customers and all levels of personnel, providing one-on-one and group technical training as needed.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, handling multiple tasks and maintaining a high level of professionalism while under pressure.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or recognized trade school in electrical field desired.
- Minimum 2 years of field experience in related industry.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, and working knowledge of MS Office Suite required.
- IMSA Level 2 or higher with electronic/electrical working knowledge strongly preferred.
- Some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., frequent driving, sitting, handling objects with hands, climbing, standing, walking, bending, reaching, talking, and hearing.
- Vision requirements: ability to visually see information in print and/or electronically.
- Hearing requirements: ability to hear people over the telephone and in person.
