Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Sustaining Engineering at Park Industries, you will:

Sustain existing products by leading efforts to improve, troubleshoot, and enhance them, ensuring they continue to meet high standards of quality and performance.

Analyze and resolve issues related to product design, materials, and manufacturing processes to optimize product reliability and efficiency.

Provide expert support to manufacturing, sales, and service teams, helping to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.

Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in existing products, focusing on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and increased customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring that all changes and improvements meet regulatory and company standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Service, to support product lifecycle management and sustainment activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a Master's Degree preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on sustaining or maintaining existing products.

Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (AutoCAD/Inventor preferred), mechanical analysis, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems design, as well as GD&T, is essential.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing existing products and processes.
